Help Children Create Their Own Julia Donaldson-Style Animated Storybook & Song (Free!)

There’s a lot of talk about AI killing creativity and core skills—but it’s really poor use of AI that does that. AI isn’t going anywhere, so we should be showing children how to use it in ways that actually support reading, writing, and imagination.

The video below shows how even 5-year-olds can create their own animated storybook and song in the style of Julia Donaldson—completely free. It starts with pen, paper, drawing and reading, then builds into storytelling, singing, and even dancing. The AI tools just help bring their ideas to life in a fun, shareable way.
