About Me

My name is Bianka, I am 20 years old. I am Bulgarian but have lived in the UK for 5 years.

Beside Business and Economics, my biggest passions are filmmaking and football. I am a huge FC Barcelona fan, which has encouraged me to pursue a career in Sports Marketing, hence my degree in Business Management.

Filmmaking is my hobby, with some of my projects including documentaries, interviews and a short film sponsored by the British Film Institute. I discovered my interest in teaching while volunteering with the Red Cross. At the time I was teaching children the basics of first aid. This interest later stimulated me to work with students
academically.

How I Can Help

I have officially been a tutor for just over a year now. I have previous experience with friends and siblings as well.

My lessons tend to focus on three main areas, them being: exam technique, content and essay writing. Understanding the content is just the foundation of what examiners demand from students. Therefore, I am putting a huge emphasis on exam techniques such as time management and knowing how much to write for each question. When it comes to essay writing I aim to develop students’ critical thinking and chain of analysis. This helps them reach the top level of the mark scheme- evaluation.
