About Me

Hey there, I’m Carla!

I studied Biology, Psychology, and English for A-Levels. Although an odd combination of subjects, I was always keen on learning more about the fields I was the most passionate about.

Since starting University two years ago, I have chosen the linguistic path, specialising in English and French, while maintaining and feeding a passion for the subjects I had seen more of in school.

I have been teaching and tutoring for over two years, and in this time, I have found a true passion for it.

I am patient, enthusiastic, and reliable.

How I Can Help

With time and experience, I have developed a style of teaching that tailors to every child’s needs and means of learning, given every student has their own way of doing this efficiently.

Having spent my A-Level year taking school online, and personally struggling with the stress of a change of setting,  yet overcoming these to take on my further studies, I understand the importance of having a sense of organisation and proper understanding of the IGCSE, AS and A-Level subjects.

From personal experience and from my student’s I have learnt various techniques to make studying, staying up-to-date, and keeping a positive and growth-focused mindset easy.
