About Me

Hi, I’m Carlota.
I have studied at King’s College Madrid my whole life and now I am moving to London to study Aeronautical Engineering.

I was Head of STEM in my school, where I organised fun experiments for younger students, such as elephant toothpaste and thermite reaction, and taught students how to program in python.

In terms of academics, I enjoy physics and have a strong passion for mathematics. I have even completed the whole of Kumon Mathematics Programme. In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing football, travelling and spending time with friends and family

How I Can Help

When approaching complicated topics I like to break them down into simpler problems in order to create a strong foundation and to use the simplest method possible to solve the problem.

In the past, I have mentored other students in younger year groups by helping them with maths and further maths. I also have experience in teaching the basics of python.

I am confident that I have the skills necessary to be an excellent tutor as I am calm, patient, I am able to communicate my ideas clearly and I have a passion for the subjects I teach.
