About Me

Hello, my name is Pablo.

I have been in Canterbury school since I was 3. Although I haven’t yet completely decided what I am going to study at university it will be something related to Maths. As you might have guessed, I like this subject (I optionally did IGCSE Mathematics (Extended) in Y10) as well as Computer Science and Physics. They are all such amazing subjects that let you understand better the world in which we live. During my IGCSE period I also enjoyed other subjects like Geography, Chemistry. Although I am not currently studying them they were particularly interseting.

Right now, I am studying IB. It is a demanding course but I think it will make me become more open-minded and be able to understand other people’s perspective. I hope that this programme helps me contribute even more to the current needs of all the international students.

How I Can Help

Since I was little, I always liked teaching. It is very pleasing to see the progress of students when you are in the teacher’s perspective. Previously, I have done an internship as a teacher assistant for the Maths department at my school. Students appreciated my help (even one told me that thanks to my help he passed Maths).

As I mentioned above, I have been at an international school since a very long therefore I am fully aware of all the difficulties international students have to face. I hope my help makes students discover that Maths is not as bad as it seems!
