About Me
Hello, I’m Pablo!
I recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Mathematics degree and I am currently on a gap year, which will consist of moving to the other side of the world and pursuing my professional endeavours in Australia!
Some of my interests include water polo, CrossFit, chess and quantum mechanics (believe it or not), but there is nothing I love more than learning and sharing my findings with virtually everyone I know.
Being the second oldest in a family of five gave me the chance to experience the fun of tutoring from an early age, which made me want to delve into teaching at a more professional level. Having taught for a while only made my passion for science and knowledge grow and I would love to help my students develop their curiosity too!
How I Can Help
Having studied in the UK for the last four years, I feel very familiarised with what is expected from a student even at the highest level of performance. My approach to teaching is based on enhancing the student’s problem solving skills while also reinforcing their engagement and confidence with the material. This will allow students to not only achieve their desired grades but also begin to enjoy the learning process, which will result in an overall improvement of their work ethic.
My previous experience tutoring pupils from all over the UK has shown me the importance of building a safe environment with a student and encouraging them to make mistakes and learn from them. All the students I have worked with managed to fulfil their goals and I wish nothing but the same for you!

The Really Hard Things I Enjoy Explaining
Physics and mathematics are two of my greatest passions, and it fills me with joy to be able to explain the hardest concepts in the most fundamental manner possible. This includes, for instance, long integrals by parts, complex numbers and nuclear theory.
Not only do I love these complicated tasks but I also investigate a lot about the historical background of the tougher tasks faced by the students, such as the development of the periodic table or the discovery of nuclear dating, both complex yet fascinating topics.
