About Me

Hi! I’m Pablo and I am currently studying Medicine. I took the IB 3 years ago in Madrid (Spain) and it was one of the best decisions I have made so far. I got excellent results (41/45) and I learnt a huge amount of things that have been useful later in my life.  Aside from the academic the aspect I think taking the IB changed my way of seeing life in much more aspects. I am so thankful for everything I learnt and I would be pleased if I could help other people make the IB a journey as full of enjoyable learning and positive experiences as it was for me

How I Can Help

As a part of my Creativity, Activity and Service projects, while taking the IB, I started tutoring younger students of my high school who had problems with any subject, and I found it so fulfilling that I have been tutoring students since then, adding up to more than 300h of classes among all the students I have had. I think my experience in tutoring students as well as my knowledge of how the IB works would be useful to help other students overcome the challenges the IB may pose for them.

Really hard things I enjoy explaining

I think explaining is a lot about being able to tell the way in which the other person understands, that’s why I love explaining Maths and Chemistry. These are the most common subjects that people love or hate, and I think it is because of the way they have been explained to them. Some teachers may explain these subjects in an excessively academic or complicated way and I really enjoy being able to make my students understand the concepts by explaining them in a way closer to them and sharing the way I understood them.
