‘Paula is very organised and makes sure we are on track, but also implements a side of fun and always tries to keep us engaged! She always emphasises that whatever problem we may encounter that we can contact her and she would reply or go over the subject in the next lesson. Paula has a lot of professionalism as well as a good amount of friendliness for the perfect learning experience! The best part about Paula is that she is flexible and can adapt to different learning styles and methods of tutoring to help us the most. I would definitely reccomend her to anyone that is looking to improve their IT and computer science skills, she’s brilliant!’

About Me

Hi, I am Paula!

During my time in 6th form, I studied A-level Computer Science, Mathematics, Spanish and Physics. I also ventured into humanities classes during secondary school, taking a particular interest in Geography and History.

I am currently studying BSc Computer Science and Software Engineering at Maynooth University in Ireland. Having always been deeply invested into my field of study has allowed me to stay curious and keep learning.

Through my previous tutoring experience I have learnt to be very patient and adapt to each child’s needs. I believe good time management and organisational skills are key to a successful education. My approach to teaching is engaging with what students interests are and applying that to fields of study they might find a bit more challenging.

How I Can Help

Being a student myself, I understand the struggles of managing a busy schedule. I would love to teach students new and improved organisational skills and note-taking techniques that can aid in their academic development and hopefully in their personal development too.

I am well versed when it comes to teaching having tutored a number of children before. Some courses I have developed and taught before include Python 101, Computer Systems Theory, Computer Ethics and Security as well as English History 101.
